KUALA LUMPUR: V.S Industry Bhd has posted its best net profit and revenue in its history. Group net profit jumped 32.6 per cent to RM156.3 million in the year ended July 31 2017, while revenue soared 50.8 per cent to RM3.28 billion. For the fourth quarter, the net profit jumped 3.5 times to RM38.81 million from RM10.94 million previously, thanks to higher sales orders from existing key customers. In an exchange filing today, V.S said its revenue surged 77.44 per cent to RM983.39 million from RM554.20 million a year ago. “To cope with the potential new orders from existing and new customers, we added more production space by constructing a new factory cum warehouse,” it said.
