NewsUva Province Chief Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayaka has appeared before the Human Rights Commission (HRC) this morning. He was summoned by the Commission over an incident where he is alleged to have forced the principal of Badulla Tamil Maha Vidyalaya to kneel. The HRC had earlier issued notice to seven others to appear before the Commission in relation to the incident.
