President Akufo-Addo on Sunday announced the removal of Mr Ayisi Addo, Mr Uuter Paul Dery and Mr Mustapha Habib Logoh from the High Court bench on grounds of bribery and corruption. Their removal was based on recommendations by the Chief Justice’s Committee that concluded that their conduct amounted to a criminal offence under the Criminal Offences Act, 1960, (Act 29) (as amended). Accordingly, President Akufo-Addo has directed that a copy of the Committee's report be submitted to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service for the requisite action to be taken.
