Representationl imageA man in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut allegedly gave a contract to kill her 17-year-old daughter for not severing ties with her lover. The man gave the contract to a ward boy of a hospital, who injected a high dose of potassium chloride into the girl, police have said. The father of the girl, Naveen Kumar, ward boy Naresh Kumar and a woman employee of the hospital were arrested in connection with the incident on Saturday, police added. The ward boy confessed to police that the girl's father had given him Rs 1 lakh to kill her. Police have recovered a broken syringe containing potassium chloride and Rs 90,000 in cash from the ward boy.
