USERS of a public toilet near the hawkers complex in Jalan Kebun Bunga, Penang, are fed up with the poor maintenance of the facility. Those who use the washroom are mainly visitors to the Penang Botanic Gardens or those who use the hiking trails in the area. A notice showing that a 30 sen fee is charged for usage of the public toilet near the hawkers complex in Jalan Kebun Bunga, Penang. A check at the washrooms located within the Botanic Gardens, near its Formal Garden, showed that all of them were functioning and generally clean. Penang Botanic Gardens Department director Mohd Azwa Shah Ahmad said that the toilet at the hawkers complex has been repeatedly vandalised over the years.
