Ministers briefed the Prime Minister on the ground report in the Kashmir Valley as well as along the Line of ControlPrime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday chaired a high-level meeting, attended by top Ministers and officials on the deadly terror attack in Uri. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag were among those who attended the meeting. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announces financial assistance of Rs. 12.05 p.m.: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chairs a meeting on the attack. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti also pays tributes to the martyred soldiers.
