Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar attended the government's strategy meet after 17 jawans were killed in the Uri terror attack near the border with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Parrikar also briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Uri attack after the meeting. Seventeen jawans were killed in the gruesome terror attack at Army headquarters in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, candle marches have been organised in the memory of the Uri attack martyrs.
