The race for Migori gubernatorial seat during the ODM nominations will be a two-horse race between the incumbent Okoth Obado and former Rongo MP Ochillo Ayacko. An opinion poll released on Monday showed that Migori governor Okoth Obado is likely to retain his seat if elections were held today. Former Sony Sugar Director Paul Odhiambo Odola will emerge last with 4.13percent of the votes, while Anne Anyanga wife to Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga will get a surprising 14 % after almost consolidating her Nyatike votes. Further, the polls indicated that about 2 percent of the residents were still undecided on the preferred gubernatorial candidate. However, 73per cent residents said they will not vote back their current legislators.
