Henry Kosgey has exuded confidence over a win in the upcoming General Election and party primaries slated for 21st April on a jubilee ticket. Speaking to residents over the weekend, he said he has an unwavering love for Nandi County. He told residents that as soon as he is elected the governor he will make sure that the youth and the women are given the priority to run the county. He is expected to hold several rallies in the county in the remaining few days to the jubilee party primaries which experts have termed as highly competitive. He is running against the incumbent Dr. Cleophas Lagat, former minister of Agriculture Felix Kosgey who was removed from office over graft allegations among other aspirants.
