I know from the word go you are asking how can people from humble backgrounds manipulate the rich? There is a clique of people in the society who are not very rich and learned but play a very important role in the society. When a car belonging to a qualified engineer breaks down, he or she takes it to the mechanic for repair. Whatever you call them they have a commanding power of the rich in the society. Whenever the rich have problems they seek help from these kind people and follow their advice.
