'Urduja' exits PAR, LPA to enter Wednesday


MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Urduja (international name Kai-Tak) has left the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday but a low pressure area may enter the country tomorrow. State weather bureau PAGASA said the low pressure area was located at 1,710 km east of Mindanao at 8 a.m."The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates regarding this weather disturbance," PAGASA said. The weather bureau warned that sea travel remains risky over the western seaboard of Palawan due to the surge brought by the northeast monsoon or "amihan."
