Urban Agri trade fair a big successThe two-day Urban Agriculture trade fair on September 17-18 was a big hit at the Market! The trade fair was the third of a series that Agriculture Magazine plans to undertake in the coming years to promote farming and gardening in the urban areas. Napoleon Puente and his family in Cainta, Rizal, was a big hit at the trade fair, especially among the elderly. The University of the Philippines Los Baños showcased at the trade fair its edible gardening technique using plastic pots and other containers for growing plants. In sum, there were so many useful ideas that were highlighted in the exhibits as well as in the lectures during the two-day urban agri fair.
