In the 24 hours to Saturday morning, as many as 301 dengue cases have been detected, says the DGHS. Some 1,271 patients diagnosed with dengue fever are receiving treatment in the country, according to official figures. The highest number of dengue patients recorded in a single day was on September 7 with 343 cases. Around 13,556 patients have been admitted to different hospitals with dengue since January and 12,231dengue patients have been released from hospitals after recovery, according to the DGHS. The health authorities have been recording over 200 dengue cases per day since August 1.
