The BCCI's continued defiance against the Supreme Court order will soon undergo a fresh test with the Lodha Committee set to file its status report before the apex court. The Lodha committee, which has been entrusted by the Supreme Court to oversee the implementation of the reforms in the BCCI, met in the Capital on Monday to discuss the progress. (Also Read: Kapil, Gavaskar feel some Lodha panel recommendations are harsh)"The Supreme Court had asked us to give a status report if there are any impediments in the implementation of the reforms," justice (rtd) Lodha, who is head of the committee, told India Today. "We are going to file a status report, most likely by tomorrow, before the Supreme Court because we have observed many impediments," he added. Despite the Supreme Court verdict, the BCCI went ahead with its annual general body meeting last week and took decisions which were very much in violation of the Supreme Court verdict.
