Upper Hutt’s H2O Xtream was closed on Thursday afternoon after a chlorine spill led to 11 children being hospitalised. A waterslide that landed 11 children in hospital and left dozens vomiting and fainting had been closed earlier in the day over high chlorine levels, but then reopened. Emergency services were called to Upper Hutt pool H2O Xtream just after 2pm on Thursday.
