Upper Canada College, an all-boys’ private school in Toronto, has voluntarily closed for in-person classes after 12 people tested positive for COVID-19 since Feb. 25. Prior said as of Tuesday at 6 p.m., there are 10 active cases at the school among students in Grade 4, 8 and 12, with two cases having been resolved. Toronto Public Health has recommended that all staff and students be tested, Dubey said in a statement. “The school has decided to voluntarily close for in-person instruction until test results from schoolwide testing is completed,” Dubey said.
