The monthly session of Upasana, an informal gathering of musicians is in full flow. Once she winds up with a thillana in raag Desh, it marks the end of another monthly session of Upasana. At each session, one of the musicians would give a concert, with the others taking up the role of the audience. Upasana is “an informal, yet formal” platform for the musicians to get the experience of performing on a stage. Manodharma is an integral aspect of a classical concert and Upasana gives the perfect opportunity and the confidence for the musicians to showcase their prowess.
