Six relatives have been killed and two more people injured in a mass shooting at a German hotel this afternoon. The shooter opened fire shortly after midday at the German Kaiser hotel in the southwestern town of Rot am See, Baden-Wuerttemberg, 105 miles northwest of Munich. The 26-year-old gunman, who was been arrested, is understood to have gone on a slaughter spree following a family row. The gunman, who has not yet been named, was a member of a shooting club and had a licence to carry a firearm. The shooting took place near the train station at Rot am See, a town of 5,200 residents near Stuttgart, capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg state.
