No loss of life report­ed, cloth worth millio­ns burnt to ashesKARACHI: A towel factory was gutted into fire in the New Karachi neighbourhood on Friday. Firefighters said that though no loss of life was reported in the fire, valuables worth million of rupees was burnt to ashes. The fire erupted at a multi-storey towel factory near Saba Cinema in New Karachi and engulfed the entire three-storey building, causing damage worth millions of rupees. According to workers, the blaze erupted at around 8am as when they arrived at the factory, half the building was already gutted in fire. He confirmed that there was no loss of life, while cloth worth millions of rupees was turned into ashes due to the fire.
