VISITORS to the weekly Bazarena and Pasar Tani (farmer’s market) at the Shah Alam Stadium, in Section 13, Shah Alam, are at risk of falling into uncovered drains. A frequent visitor to the area who wanted to be known only as Khiruddin, said the exposed drains were a danger to market-goers, especially children. “Visitors with small children or the elderly have to be extra careful when walking because they could fall into the uncovered drains. Shah Alam City Council should take immediate action to replace the missing drain covers. “Nevertheless, to ensure the comfort and safety of market-goers, the council is now replacing the missing covers, which will be done in stages.
