Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir, daughter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari, has apologised over the “choice of words” in a video in which Imaan could be seen criticising the role of the Pakistan Army in the Faizabad fiasco. Shireen Mazari had distanced herself from her daughter’s video, condemning the use of abusive language and narrative by Imaan Mazari against the armed forces of the country. Imaan Mazari on Saturday posted on Facebook, “While i deeply regret my choice of words, i stand by my opinion even today. She did not deserve to be made collateral damage, esp for a view she quite clearly doesn’t even share. Imaan’s Twitter handle was suspended hours after the video was posted.
