With mattresses and bags, and prepared to sleep overnight, the peeved teacher trainees say they will not go back on their decisions. Trainees from parts of the country, specifically the Ashanti and Northern regions were part of the demonstrators who picketed at GES today, January 13, 2019. According to them, their coming to Accra was as a result of text messages they had received from GES regarding postings, messages which apparently were forged and not from the GES as assumed. Meanwhile, Ministries District Police Commander, Superintendent Florence Owusu confirmed to GhanaWeb that, the messages circulating as indicated by the trainees were fake and not from GES as speculated.
