There was anger among some political party representatives during an IPAC meeting held on Thursday, following the presence of armed police personnel, reportedly brought in by the commission. The party representatives say they went through stringent security checks, not excluding vigorous scanning, before they were allowed into the conference room for the meeting. This, according to Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, was “unnecessary” – since the meeting wasn’t related to “war”.
