It is in the interest of the Turkish Republic, its elected leaders, its parliament, its citizens to uphold the Turkish democracy and the Turkish constitutional order. President Erdogan is a leader elected by 52 per cent of the electorate and he is the product of Turkish democracy. When you look at the organisational and operational mode of this (FETO) terrorist organisation, they are quite different from other outfits. Therefore, a massive effort is underway right now to get to the bottom of this ordeal and this terrorist organisation. But until we are able to clear the good from the bad, members of the terrorist organisation from those who are not, the primary criteria (for the crackdown) will be a person’s affiliation to the terrorist organisation.
