UNKNOWN gunmen in the early hours of Saturday abducted Hajiya Zahra’u, the wife of the lawmaker representing Miga constituency in the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aliyu Dangyatum Haruna,The lawmaker’s wife was kidnapped from her residence in Dangyatum village in Miga local government area of the state. Reports from the state indicated that the criminals arrived at the village in large numbers at around 4:00 and whisked her away. Tribune Online gathered that Alhaji Dangyatum has been in Saudi Arabia on a lesser hajj for the last two weeks. According to him, the abductors arrived at the village on foot kept their motorcycles in the bush near the village. He assured that there is a strategy being worked on to ensure Hajiya Zahra’u’s release safely back to her family.
