University of San Carlos’ College of Law puts classes online


CEBU CITY – One of the country’s premier law schools has migrated to online classes amid the threat of the coronavirus or COVID-19. Lawyer Joan Largo, dean of the University of San Carlos’ College of Law, said they decided to make use of technology while the Cebu City government suspended classes in schools from March 16 to 28. ADVERTISEMENT“In view of the suspension of classes, USC Law will implement the use of alternative modes of delivery of instruction and holding of exams,” she said in a memorandum. Students, she said, would avail of the following online management systems: a Google Classroom and Google Meet, Microsoft teams of Microsoft Office, and Schoology. “Online classes will follow the official class schedules unless a different arrangement is made by the teacher concerned.
