University of Regina Rams first-year defensive back Brandon Gandire was suspended from all team activities Thursday, upon being charged with assault causing bodily harm. Gandire, 21, was also charged with failure to comply with an undertaking, arising from an alleged incident that occurred early on Oct. 6. The Regina Police Service said it received a call regarding a sick or injured person outside an on-campus business. On the same morning, police received a report alleging an assault causing injury. The police report lists him as being from Vancouver, although the Rams’ website shows his hometown as Marietta, Ga.
