The University of Regina Cougars men’s basketball team hopes to make some noise well into the playoffs. Regina, which is seeded fifth for the post-season, is preparing to face the fourth-ranked University of Saskatchewan Huskies in a series that is to begin Thursday in Saskatoon. “It’s going to be a good environment, and we’ve played in some tough environments all year,” Cougars head coach Steve Burrows said. “I fully expect that the (Huskies) football team will be the distance from me to you away, showing us their love. “Saskatchewan is a great team and, going up there, there’s all sorts of challenges involved with that, but we’re looking forward to it.
