The inaugural Daily Mail University Guide 2024 has rated Reading among the top 40 UK universities. The University of Reading is ranked at 38 by the Mail, out of 131 universities across the UK. In the south-east of England, Reading is ranked at 4 out of 20 universities, behind Oxford, Surrey and Southampton universities. The profile of Reading highlights data on admissions, teaching and student support, fees and average graduate salaries, and the make-up of the student population.
