Prof Daniel Mugendi said universities have only presented a proposal to the government for consideration in their effort of finding ways for meeting financial demands. While addressing participants during dedication of a new administration block at university of Embu, Prof .Mugendi said the universities are straining financially due to diminishing funding, alongside inflation or the rising cost of living.
