Unity Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with Capgemini to offer consultations to firms seeking metaverse solutions, the latter revealed on Wednesday. According to the agreement, both companies will collaborate on “sector-specific solutions” in the multi-year partnership. Capgemini will also offer its Metaverse Lab featuring senior technology experts from its Group Executive Committee. The Lab will work to develop future human-machine interfaces (HMIs), digital twins, metaverse work platforms, blockchains, and decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs), it added. Echoing Brier’s statements, Marc Whitten, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Unity Create Solutions, added the partnership would “accelerate the adoption of real-time 3D technologies” for numerous industries.
