Disc Golf South has received support from a United States company for its annual tournament in Invercargill this weekend. Its committee accepted an unexpected sponsorship offer from Innova Disc Golf, known worldwide for manufacturing discs, baskets and other equipment for the sport. Disc Golf South’s treasurer, Calvin Jenkins, said the company had heard good reports on tournaments in Invercargill and wanted to be involved with one.
