KUALA LUMPUR: United Plantations Bhd has declared a special dividend of 65% per share for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2016 (FY16), to be paid on May 17. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company also declared a final dividend of 20% per share for FY16, also to be paid on May 17. The company is due to release its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2016 and FY16 financial results soon. Revenue for 9MFY16 was up 9.8% at RM830.99 million, from RM756.83 million a year ago.
