EDMONTON—After a successful election campaign and two jam-packed legislative sessions, the United Conservative Party will hold its annual general meeting this weekend to discuss the path forward among party faithful. Should there be more private options in Alberta’s health care system? There will be at least 25 policy proposals debated and voted on by hundreds of party members. The work done this weekend will help pave the way for the next platform rolled out by the United Conservative Party. Most policy proposals are drawn up by various constituency associations around the province.
