"We call on all Kenyans to unite and defend the values of justice, democracy and peace for which this country is being known," he said. Kalonzo commended Gen Zs for uniting to inspire the majority of disenfranchised and disillusioned Kenyans, to exercise their constitutional right to demonstrate. Kalonzo alleged that the violence, looting and destruction of property on Tuesday were coordinated and sponsored by some individuals in power. "The intention of yesterday's well-organised, coordinated and sponsored chaos was to undermine the Gen Z nationwide protests," he said.
