“The cheongsam here in Sarawak has unique colours and designs. She said the traditional cheongsam style is fully red in colour with Chinese designs such as lanterns and Mandarin character. “However, in Sarawak, the cheongsam have lots of unusual flower and plant designs on it,” she said. Lee suggested that Choi organise an international cheongsam competition in Miri soon, saying that it would be a big tourist draw. During the dinner, Miri business woman Rita Liew won the award for wearing the most photogenic cheongsam at the gathering.
