Saima Wazed Hossain, who spearheads mental health issues, compiled and edited the book styled ‘Unique Glimpses’. The book was launched at the assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Dhaka on Tuesday, said a statement. Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury and IPU President Saber Hossain Chowdhury were also present at the ceremony, among others. She is also a member of the WHO expert panel on mental health. This year before World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, WHO announced her as ‘WHO Champion for Autism’ in South East Asia Region.
