Share TweetUnion Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) and the Singapore Management University (SMU) – one of Asia’s premier universities – on Tuesday inked an agreement to further develop the potential of SMU’s brightest and most entrepreneurial students by learning from UnionBankers, Union-Bank announced yesterday. Under the partnership, 10 pre-screened SMU students with mixed expertise will be exposed to various projects of UnionBank for 12 weeks to co-create development of emerging technologies. The students are covered under the Global Innovation Immersion (GII) program of Singapore Management University – a talent development program for its most outstanding students by serving as interns in startups, venture funds, corporates and non-governmental organizations annually from May to August. The program is endorsed and financially supported by the Singapore government.
