By Van Tieu | NY1.com |A livery driver in the Bronx was shot multiple times Saturday by a person who robbed him of $23, according to the city police department and a taxi union. Police said the app-based livery driver, seen above, was shot multiple times in the abdomen and legs shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday on Morrison Ave. near East 174th St. before the assailant fled. Officer Arlene Muniz, a police spokeswoman, said the livery driver had picked up the assailant on the street elsewhere in the Bronx. The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers has offered a $1,000 reward for information on the shooting.
