A young girl has died in a house fire in Co Antrim (Liam McBurney/PA). A schoolgirl died in a house fire in Co Antrim yesterday. The girl, aged 12, was from the Ballykeel area of Ballymena. Paramedics were called to the property at Staffa Drive in the Ballykeel estate just before 6pm yesterday. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed that one person was taken to Antrim Area Hospital for treatment after the tragedy.
