TORONTO — Didn’t Team USA listen to a word that came out of head coach John Tortorella’s mouth in the past two weeks? The final score was 3-0 for Team Europe, much to the dismay of the United States fans in attendance. Instead, Kane mostly was unnoticeable and had no explanation for a giveaway that led to the second Europe goal. It more or less summed up the listless performance by the United States. The United States had 35 shots on Team Europe goalie Jaroslav Halak, but he didn’t have to make many tough saves.
