Photo : BSSDHAKA, March 16, 2026 (BSS) - Road Transport and Bridges and ShippingMinister Shaikh Rabiul Alam today warned that unfit vehicles would not beallowed to ply on roads. The road transport minister said the surveillance team is monitoring theissue of unfit vehicles by going to the garages and all relevant agencies andthe highway police are active too. Noting that the passenger pressure would increase from this afternoon, Rabiulsaid since tomorrow (Tuesday) is a public holiday, the passenger pressure mayincrease in the afternoon or evening. Regarding the Mohakhali Bus Terminal, the minister further said due tolimited space at the bus terminal, it is not possible to park all the busestogether.
