A lost and unfinished picture of a horse by artist Lucian Freud that he stopped working on because he didn't like the animal he was drawing has emerged for sale for £60,000. The celebrated British artist gave up on his painting of a horse called Goldie halfway through as he decided he didn't like her personality. But rather than destroy the work, as was his way, he left it at the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre in west London where he often went to paint the horses. Sister Mary-Joy Langdon, who runs the centre, had no idea who the artist was at first and kept the charcoal on canvas drawing in her office.
