From a small garage on Waimairi Rd in Ilam, Tadaaki Kusaka plies his trade. A professional photographer for more than 25 years, he claims to take the best passport photo in the city. Trouble finding photography work in Auckland brought him to Christchurch where he set up shop taking tourist photos in Cathedral Square. He set up his garage shop soon after and said business was "very difficult for about half a year".
