Unemployed man nabbed in connection with woman's murder in Sentul


PETALING JAYA: Police have detained a man to assist in investigations into the murder of a woman who was found dead with head injuries early Monday (Feb 9). Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said police received a report on the incident at 8.02am on the same day. He said the Sentul Control Centre was informed of a woman lying with heavy bleeding to the head in front of a school along Jalan Sentul. ACP Ahmad Sukarno said police will apply for a remand of the 46-year-old suspect, who is unemployed, on Feb 10 to facilitate further investigations. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
