A 26-year-old undertrial, accused of murders, allegedly hanged himself at Arthur Road jail in the early hours of Monday. Cops said Shaikh had attempted suicide on the jail premises in the past after which he was given psychiatric help. Rajvardhan Sinha, inspector general (prisons), said Shaikh was an undertrial for the past three years.
