The status of ukuleles as a serious instrument may have been hindered by Tiny Tim, but a growing Lauder event is doing all it can to show they can be played with skill. The third annual Lauder Ukulele Festival will take over its village green from tomorrow until Monday. ''People often think Tiny Tim and Tip Toe Through The Tulips. Lauder locals and various community groups and sponsors had ''gone out of their way'' to help with the festival, he said.
