In June in Lucerne there will not even be talk of what ‘victory’ actually means for Ukraine. They call for an immediate ceasefire along the frontline and the simultaneous start of peace negotiations. For European governments and media, the possibility of negotiations to end the war in Ukraine does not merit attention.
