A section of Ukambani leaders have urged Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka to traverse the country and campaign for the presidency. "Now leave Ukambani for us, go across the country and campaign because 2027 is your time to become the president of this country," Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti said. Kalonzo recently announced that he is ready to run for president in 2027 but insisted that he will not be seeking Raila's endorsement. "We are saying as Ukambani leaders that we shall support you to run for president in 2027 because the time has come for you to liberate this country,'' she said. Machakos Woman Representative Joyce Kamene urged the Wiper boss to focus on the 2027 presidential bid.
