Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavai has expressed his confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta will respect the Constitution and leave the office come 2022 when his second term comes to an end. Mudavadi criticised some of the opinions from a section of leaders who have been claiming that the president is too young to go home. "I have listened to Kenyatta several times and he has never said that he wants to extend his term of office," Mudavadi said. Speaking at Nyandarua County Government Headquarters on Saturday during his two-day, Mudavadi said that the country is being guided by the Constitution. He observed that the ten years under Uhuru have been peaceful, and maintained the need for a continuation of harmony.
